Good Reading!

The September issue of The Sound Box is out, and I have provided a brief overview here:

http://victrolagramophones.proboards.co ... hread=1045

I'm always interested (and I know Editor Rene Rondeau is as well) in readers' impressions; positive, negative, and/or suggestions for improvement.

I'm interested in the impressions of those interested in portable phonographs, as this issue contains an informative article on "The Best Portables in the World." I learned that the second phonograph I ever owned was an HMV Model 102. (I traded it in 1968 toward an Edison "Standard", but retain fond memories of it still.)

I neglected to mention that more information on CAPS is available at www.antiquephono.org. Anyone wishing to join should contact Mari ([email protected]) or Jeff ([email protected]) for faster replies.

Best to all,

George P.

Hey! Now I know what it feels like to have a thread all to myself!

Carsten has asked to have his website link pertaining to "The World's Best Portables" posted here, so here it is...
