Seems that people keep confusing these 2 machines. The Gramophone ( G & T = Gramophophon % Typewriter Co.) Style 5 is the machine featured in the famous Trademark picture of Victor & HMV. The style 3 is a machine from a few years later and not in the same price class.

Recently I have seen a few sales where style 3's are being touted as "Trademark", which is not accurate.

That's not recent, it's been going on for at least fifty years. To be really pernickety, the original Trade Mark Gramophone is not a 'Style No. 5'; it only acquired that designation when other models were introduced at the end of 1900. That was also when the company became 'Gramophone & Typewriter Ltd', so it could be argued that 'Style No 5' is correct only for a machine with the G & T label.
