I have a fascination with the QRS phonograph and record branch and would love to have any of their records or machines. I don't really know the value of these so I am open to looking at anything. I am located on Long Island, New York.

I did a quick google search and found Music Trade Review pdfs (https://mtr.arcade-museum.com/MTR-1928- ... page_no=04 - I converted the images to jpg files to post here) at the website The International Arcade Museum Library, Inc. (https://www.arcade-museum.com/library/) below, if this helps.

Cheers,
Fran

I saw one of these portables for sale not too long ago. If I can circle back and find it again, I will send the info your way....

Wow, that looks a lot nicer with a lot of the birch part portables I've seen! An electric motor and proper branded soundbox, that would be a dream.

I don't know what ultimately happened to it, but there used to be a N.O.S. QRS portable at the QRS player piano roll factory. It was in their mini museum. Along with a QRS vacuum tube. I believe their vacuum tube is even rarer than the phonograph or records. The tube dates from the pre AC set era. "QRS RED TOP TUBE"

Any interest in the super rare 1930-31 era QRS red label records pressed by Cova in NYC out of the crappiest shellac ever? :D

I have some Earl Hines solo records made for QRS, and although the records look unworn, the noise level is so high that it almost buries the piano.

Yeah, I'll take almost anything at this point even if the shellac is.. undesirable

I saw a couple of QRS player piano paper rolls in QRS boxes at an antique store a few days ago ($8 each).
Are you interested in those?
