Am I the only one experiencing this delay?
The actual message was sent Sept 29 9:13pm and I read it days ago, but the notification came Oct 2 9:28pm. I see messages right away in the forum, but the email notification comes 3 (three!!!) days later. Same thing happened to my last five PMs.
Until recently I was receiving email notification immediately, there was no delay.
I do not believe that my yahoo email has a problem because no other emails apart from this forum are delayed. Anyone else using yahoo? Do you have a delay?

I think I had a similar issue. I received e-mails that I had a new private message about 3 different times--and each time, it was for the same private message that I had already looked at to begin with!

Yes, that's what I experience. I click on the PM notification and it gets me to the message that I've read 3 days ago. It's not the duplicate notification though, it's just 3 days late.
