Is this actually a Victrola key?

I saw this listed on Ebay, and the seller has it described as a Victrola key.

I looked at the various keys pictured on the Old Crank website, but do not actually see this key.

Does anyone know if it is, in fact, a Victrola key?

Thank you! :rose:

My vote would lean towards no. But it may be a phonograph key, just not a Victrola. Just a guess though. :)

My guess is that there's a nice china cabinet somewhere that is missing it's key.

To me, it looks like an Edison Diamond Disc key from early Chippendale Laboratory model.

It actually resembles the key that I use for my old grandfathers clock, it is not a perfect match but it is much closer to that than to my Victrola's.

Thank you, everyone.

It is kind of an interesting looking key, but as I mentioned, I did not see it pictured on the key identification page of the Old Crank website, so I questioned the authenticity. :rose:

I would also think it could be an Edison key.
