It is a talking record, done from the perspective of the stamp. It is a comedy

• “I’ve only been licked once” (Put on the envelope)
  “Smashed with a hammer…. I turned black and blue” (Cancelled by the post office)
  “Shoved in a dark box” (Put in a post box)
