Hello all, I purchased a Columbia Harmony portable phonograph this past weekend. I remove the reproducer just to make sure it was and good playing condition and I didn’t realize that there’s no marker or any hole in the tonearm to keep the proper angle of the reproducer. What would be the proper angle for a phonograph such as this? I may have to try and mark a position on the tone arm so I don’t have to keep on measuring the proper angle for this reproducer.

An angle of 60 degrees was usually recommended. With a small triangular piece of card you can make your own needle angle gauge.

Just twist it until the needle hits the center of the spindle...
