I need one metal stud (or whatever it's called?) that is found on the corners of a Triumph's top board. If one can't be found, is there a good substitute? Thanks for checking your spare parts. I hope for an original.

I'm sorry, I don't have one to offer, however, I have always wondered just how they were attached and what they looked like when removed. Since you have one missing, can you tell, are they a flat headed tack, or just a little round piece of rod of some certain length, that just presses down into a small hole? Or something else???

I have a solution that's hard to tell the original from the reproduction. See photos. Can you tell which is original?

You will need a dremel type of tool to cut the nail to about ¼" or so and also grind the body small enough to fit into the tack hole. Works great.

I wish I could answer your question but I can't. The stud does not go completely though the top board and I've never held one in my hand to know what is below.
