Hello Everyone! I have a Single Ultona Brunswick phonograph. I have not played it yet - I need to oil the motor and lube the joints and all. It's in very good condition other than that. I would like to purchase steel or fibre needles, as well as ball stylus. Any recommendations on where I can purchase these? 'Hoping to get everything ready by Christmas so I can play some good Christmas oldies...
Thanks!!

The board has a links section with several recommended vendors. You can also find needles on eBay.

I have had great success with Soundgen's products.
Also, I highly recommend the Burmese Color Needles (thorn) available at this site:
http://www.burmesecolourneedles.com/
They are available in different thicknesses for slightly louder volume, although I find the medium (red colored) needles perfectly adequate. If records are in excellent condition, on average, I usually get 2 sides without any distortion before resharpening. (Of course, all of that depends on the condition of the record as well as the frequency demands the record makes of the needle in the first place.)
Good luck!

Every major phonograph supplier carries them, eBay is an okay source, you could also check with your local society or club if you have one.
