I am selling this really, really, really hard to find Herzog number 834 cabinet. This mahogany cabinet will handle any machine up to a Victor IV. The machine gets placed into the cabinet and resides on the upper shelf. The sound is directed out the virtually complete, solid and original carved grill on one narrow side of the cabinet. It is my understanding that a horn of special material (papier mache?) was integral to the grill to a regular Victor elbow. I have seen pictures of two that were successfully configured with an appropriate black & brass Victor horn.

Both original record racks are present as is the correct needle cup. The needle cup was mounted on the inside of the door when I received it. I have moved it back to the original position. The top record rack is missing its number strip. The only issue with the cabinet is a lengthy veneer bubble on the back which I have captured in one of the photos. The bun feet are all intact and complete. Light scratches and a cup ring are visible on the top.

Here is your chance to own a scarce Herzog cabinet at a reasonable price.

I can work with you to deliver in the Northeast US or some show whenever they start up again!

Please call, PM or email for questions, additional pics or to purchase. Thank you. John Duffy 860-966-2827

I can't imagine why this hasn't sold... If it were closer to me, I would love to have it...
