I'd be surprised if you could find it on cylinder, except maybe in a band transcription or some such. I have three recordings on 78s:

Jose Iturbi RCA Victor 10-1458-B (10")
Artur Schnabel HMV D.B.8678 (12"; coupled on the same side with one of the op. 33 bagatelles in Society volume XV)
Artur Schnabel final side of Victor set 158 (12"; filler for the Schnabel/Sargent recording of Piano Concerto no. 1)

WERM lists other 78 RPM recordings by Gieseking, Rummel, E. Joyce, Dohnanyi, and a good half dozen other, less-remembered pianists. As far as I know, I've never seen any of those.

It is such a popular piece, I am also shocked I can’t find it, anywhere!

Note: I've never done business with the seller and have no affiliation. Seems pricey to me, but there it is. If pursuing, I'd confirm that Fur Elise is the filler in this copy of the set, as it is in mine.

I've got only one copy by Arthur Schnabel, on an hmv set of a Beethoven piano concerto, filling the last odd side.
