New Hank Williams CD set

Check out the neat cover art on this soon to be
released Hank Williams CD collection.
They used a photo of my Atwater Kent model 82
for the cover.

Hey that's very cool. How did it come about that they chose your radio for the cover? I have virtually everything Hank recorded already on cd so probably would not be in the market but I'll still check it...

One of the guys working on the album set contacted me and asked if I had
anything I could photograph for them to use for the album art.
I guess they found me doing a google search for antique radio.
I sent him a photo of the Atwater Kent and he jumped right at it.
I ended up taking about a dozen photos of it from different angles
and some close-ups of the wood grain and the grill cloth pattern.
I just figured they were going to use it for the cover art on a CD.
I had no idea they would produce a scale model of the radio.
One of these sure would look cool sitting next to the real radio.

Yea I would buy one if I were you just for that purpose... and the music ain't bad either!
