Hexagonal Victor?

Hi,
The person who owns this machine claims that it is authentic.
I've searched online, but found no real Victor in a hex body, only reproductions. Victor Data Book doesn't list any hexagonal machines either.
Is this an authentic machine or a reproduction?
Thanks all.

It is an authentic reproduction from India The front label, horn elbow at 45 degrees, and a cheap reproducer. Worth maybe $ 100. at the most. Tom

A big fat phony. Victor or HMV never made a hexagon shaped machine. (But it would be cool if they did.)

Thanks all for the info!
I was leaning towards the thought that it is a replica because I couldn't find a single mention of an odd-shaped Victor.
What's interesting, however, is that I couldn't find a single picture of a hex-shaped replica either. All odd-shaped replicas that I could find are octagonal, not hexagonal.

Lots of hexagonal ones seem to have found their way to the UK - unfortunately!

Just another crapper. I hope the person who owns it didn't spent much $ for it. He or she will be hard pressed to recover their investment unless they find another gullible person that will take it off their hands.
