Does anyone have a good source or information about the flocked velvet-type turntable covering on later Sonora consoles and Tonalic models? I have a console with a cover in really poor condition. It seems to be the same as what was used on my Philharmonic, a dark red color with a metal ring covering the edge of the fabric and the turntable.

It's hard to find "true" velvet - most is synthetic stretch velvet, but here is a source for 100% cotton red velvet:

My late 1928 Sonora's have a very thin light brown substance. Not all that attractive as the rest of the machines.
