One word: why?

Way over priced in today's market. Once you get to the point where you do not know where you would put another you let the more common machines go. I remember selling a VV-130 in the parking lot at Union to a dealer for $900. That was probably twenty years ago.

Agreed... the price does sound a tad high. If I was an interested party, I would politely inquire and establish a conversation with the seller explaining my interest. All with the hope that once the price comes down, the seller may circle back....

Just curious, what was the price? I know that they are not extremely rare, but a VV-130 isn’t real common either. I have a nice, original Oak example that I would not want to part with. The 130 is probably the pinnacle of Victor’s pre-Orthophonic machines. What’s not to like?

Oh I didn’t look at the price first! Yeah $900 is a good price...If this was a Vic VI!

It's a nice machine -- seems like if it was fully restored, $900 would not be too out of line, but the market is down as of late.
