Hi, I'm looking to buy a Victor-brand orthophonic victrola/radiola combination machine to restore and use. Perhaps someone has one that they picked up some time ago and haven't gotten around to restoring it. I'd much prefer the AC (non-battery) version of the radio and hopefully with a later model (18, 28 or 64) Radiola. For the orthophonic phono, either wind-up or electrola. I'm in the DC Metro area. Feel free to PM me. Thanks.

I'm in Connecticut & will keep an eye out for you a machine. There was a guy in Massachusetts awhile ago trying to get rid of a long-legged Victrola 7-26 I think it was.

Oh--and there's a guy selling a 1929 Victor Radio Electrola from here. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/it ... =undefined Not an early model with battery radio, and has an electric phonograph, but it's free.

Hmmm. I wonder if that is Kirk (Old Restorer). He was in the City, though, if memory serves.

I don't think that's Kirk. The marketplace seller's name is Adam

Kirk is a great fellow though. I'm sure he'd have something but he is in NY.
