I never knew that Maple Leaf Rag was on a cylinder... I learn something new every day. Thanks for posting.

I love the horn on your machine and am assuming that it's a modern repaint. If so, who did the painting?

Actually, this cylinder was made by Peter N. Dilg of Baldwin New York. Who produces brand new cylinder records. That are more durable than the old Edison and Columbia wax cylinders or even the indestructible ones. It’s not a transfer, but a new Recording by a modern band, who plays music from the time period.

As for my horn? I have no idea who painted it? I found it in an Antique mall, and thought it looked nice. Much better then my black horn, for and Edison Standard Phonograph.

The UCSB cylinder archive has three cylinder records of this song in their collection.

Thanks for the info. Does Peter Dilg still produce cylinders?

Columbia produced a 2min. version of Maple Leaf Rag on it's Indestructible Cylinders in 1908:
