Great pics!
Just out of curiousity, did you happen to see how much the Schoolhouse was going for?

I did not, sorry... maybe someone else knows?
But (I think) this was the first Wayne show I've seen in which there were two Schoolhouse Victors.

I don't know the price of the one pictured, but another one in good shape I overheard was being offered for $3500.00.

Thanks for the pics, I always enjoy the Wayne show. I'm sorry I missed it this time around, but I'm planning on April. I did some local record hunting today for a change, though, and came home with a couple hundred really nice 78s for peanuts, so it wasn't a total loss!

Odd. They usually go for much more than that.
For what it's worth, I don't care much for the school house models and never understood the fascination with them that other collectors have.

How much was the Bergmann tinfoil repro? And the crate for the Columbia toy phono?

I never really understood the fascination with them until I found one. Hey, they're unique! A Victor floor model phonograph with an outside oak horn that sounds great and looks pretty unusual. I love mine. I was lucky to find one locally and (at the time) much cheaper than they used to sell for. $2000 for one seems incredibly reasonable, considering they used to bring $4000 easily when the market was better.

This was my first phonograph show today. Pretty interesting, some great machines and a chance to put a face to some names. And of course a chance for some bargain hunting, a bunch of 78s, a Morning Glory horn. Well worth the 6 hours in the car...
