What is this?

This is coming up for sale locally. I don't have an interest but curious what it is. It looks like a Vic 2 European knock off to me. Maybe Chinese based upon the needle tin? I have a German knock off that looks similar. Mostly curious if anybody knows more about these. Thanks - Scott

Very difficult to say much with these photos. The brake is a generic one used in many European machines (not HMV). The speed control is similar to HMV's. The horn looks legitimate. It could be a frankenphone or a generic European machine.

Thanks for the input Carlos. These are all the pics that I have received - I have not seen the machine in person. It is available on Friday.

The "speed control" is part of an HMV Automatic Speed Indicator which is missing the scale, pointer and celluloid window.

And missing also all the innards! They have used the plate and the screw only.

Update: this was a Crapoophone through and through. Nothing good about it. Somebody bought it for $750!!! I feel terrible for them.
