Vic II Arm Support

I may have an opportunity to purchase this machine which, based on a poor photo, appears to be a Vic II. Was this type of arm support ever used on the Vic II? I've see a similar support on a Victor Schoolhouse but didn't know if it could be correct/original for a Vic II.

That would be correct for this late model. What are they asking for it?

Asking $1000 - I asked for additional photos but they were blurry like the original. I am seeing what appears to be rust on some components so I cheeped out and offered $800 for it. I'm not even sure it's still available....waiting to hear back from the seller. It is reasonably close so no shipping worries.
