Chewy, you have Diamond Disc Phonograph and you are wondering if a scratch on your favorite Diamond Disc Record will do harm to the Diamond Stylus. The diamond is still harder than the record surface, so I do not think it's a problem. Keep playing your song until you eventually find a better copy of it.
Do you know how to clean your Diamond Disc Records? Look here...

You can also use Denatured Alcohol.
Never use water.
James.

You're actually better off using denatured alcohol because isopropyl alcohol has a high water content.

Good to know!
Denatured Alcohol is the way to go.
The method in the Youtube, using cotton balls and cleaning in the direction of the grooves until clean is the same.

Phenolic resin is one of the most chemically inert substances on Earth. Water won’t hurt it. As long as you don’t expose the edge or the spindle hole to excessive amounts of water, you CAN clean a Diamond Disc with water, and that works much better than alcohol for cleaning very dirty discs. I use a damp sponge to clean and wipe dry with a cotton cloth, again, avoiding any loose water on the edge or spindle hole.

You are correct, John. There is a caveat, though: you need to make sure the surface does not have stress microcracks (which are not uncommon on DDs). The cracks let the humidity seep to the inner side, and that may lead to further stress and consequent damage. Additionally, the sides of the record need to be protected against water besides the spindle hole.
