I’ve got a reproduction automatic stop for my Opera. I recall reading recently so where (but can’t find it) that there is someone out there that will apply the tiger strip oxidizing finish to the reproductions. Is this true? If so, who? Thank you!

I think any half decent plating shop who does nickel and silver plating should be able to do it.
It's just copper plating with a chemical applied to get the black effect.

Yes. Then you buff through the black oxide coating in places to reveal the copper beneath. Then a clearcoat to preserve the polished copper portions and to protect the delicate oxide finish as well. Maybe a tinted clearcoat to show some "age"?

Where does one find a reproduction stop for an Opera? That's on my need list...
