I'm starting to go through some boxes of "stuff"

I've had this tiny ad for many years... It's a "Hogan Micrograph" Has anyone seen one of these in person? Any info on the "American Micrograph Company?" Ad measures 1 ½" x 2 ½"

I found reference to a "micrograph" that was essentially an early microscope here:

But no reference to a cylinder machine-- Someone put the date of this ad on the back in pencil-- January 1900

Any info or pics of an actual machine?? The graphics on the horn would be amazing to see. If anyone has the machine and shares pics, I'm happy to send them this little ad to go with it.

What a fascinating little player!
A quick search in the Music Trade Review gives some incorporation information in 1899, see photo.
A news article from the Evening Journal, Wilmington, Delaware, January 14, 1909, lists the American Micrograph Co. as having their corporation charter repealed due to non payment of taxes.

It is the Berliner of phonographs! Look closely at the image... It is hand propelled with an inertia wheel, and no motor.... The less expression of a phonograph!

Thanks for the information.... so far... I was hoping someone would have one of the machines--- or at least a picture of an actual machine, instead of just the graphic in the ad I posted.

I suspect these machines were quickly relegated to "the kids" and they suffered irreparable damage.. I'd really love to see one..
