The 21st century is here. Silicone white rubber tubular gasket material. Softer than the old white rubber that yellowed as it got older (actually, it yellowed while sitting on its production spool….. then turned to ivory….then turned to cigarette tar yellow!.

As of today, Jun 17, 2021, I have slightly less than 900 feet left of the original 2000 feet.

This tubing is invincible. Does not take staining from hands, and will not harden…EVER.

I am anxiously awaiting the new isolators, but this tubing is a wonderful thing as well.

If the rubber backs are really softer than the neoprene-like ones we're used to see in the current market, reserve 4 backs for me, and some tubing for overhauling 3 exhibitions plus a reserve for any case...

I received the prototype of the new Exhibition back rubber today. It is an A45 softness, which is too soft. I will be changing it up to the next level of hardness. They will NOT be like plastic, I assure you.

Thanks Wyatt. So these you've received are not advisable to use? I'll wait then for the next batch.
Regarding these, I remember Ron Stiko (God bless him) used to ask for the old rubber backs to reuse the brass inserts. I have several for you if you want them, old ones and those hard modern replacements, which also have usable brass inserts, although I don't know if modern backs' inserts are the same as the old ones.
