2/4-minute GEM Model C

I found this Model C GEM a little over a year ago. It has a 2/4-minute conversion on it, and is fitted with a Model K reproducer that was swollen into the carriage. Wyatt Markus stayed with us for a few days when he was on his recent road trip and I gave him the carriage arm to take with him in order to restore the reproducer. I was able to obtain a horn and crane from TMF member Canuck Phonographs (thanks!) and now it’s all back together and playing nicely. It will plow right through a 4-minute cylinder with aplomb! Was a longer mainspring a part of the 2/4-minute upgrade?
