What does W.O. mean??? These abbreviations and anagrams drive me crazy...
W.O. - Western Oregon, Whole grain Oatmeal, Widows and Orphans, etc.

Working order.
I get far more irritated by lazy a**e sellers who either submit a few photos from the David Smith School Of Photography or when they're given an opportunity on Ebay to submit 12 FREE photos, post 8 near identical shots inside a portable with little variation. They then show little to nothing of the case!
Am I the only person who is as interested in the condition of the case as the machine inside? It seems that Ebay sellers think so. Do they not think the case condition might be of some importance to a collector?
It seems I'm having to ask the same question over and over on Ebay. Most sellers oblige with photos which still don't show the whole case or even every side whilst some simply ignore it, presumably to hide the fact that their items are in a poor state.

W. O. = Working Order... Now that you said it, it makes perfect sense. Why not just type "working order", since it's as easy as typing W. O. or W. U. for wind up...

I blame texting, a lazy practice which I never have and never will use. It has been the death of English grammar.

You just have to abandon comparisons with English and see texting as a code that you need to learn in order to communicate in writing with your grandchildren.

I might be one of the few young people today who would say this... but I actually hate texting. Not only am I not good at it, but it takes so damn long to have a conversation

. I would much rather just talk to you on the phone than text.
