Little Falls Minnesota July 11th.

I always scan estate sales net and this popped up. I don’t know anything more then what’s listed. Doesn’t seem to have bidding online. But there are some interesting items posted.

Could photo 29 be an Amet motor? Unfortunately, the only photos are of the back... :o

Does anyone know John Brott? He seems to have a number of interesting things: a coin-op Columbia BS and a full barrel Herzog cylinder cabinet, to name a couple...

We'll have to see what this goes for at the end of the auction...

If the 18% fees which are shown on the website are all the buyers have to pay, they are on to a bargain compared to the UK where shameless pandemic profiteering has raised the total payable by internet buyers to over 30% in many cases.

I am old enough to remember when there were no buyer's premiums. They were introduced by the leading auction houses, and when they were seen to get away with it the rest of the auction trade soon followed suit.

If and when we ever return to normal live bidding in the saleroom it will be interesting to see whether fees return to less stratospheric levels. I am not holding my breath.....
