My rebuilt 1915 VV-XI

I have recently really gotten into Victor products. I have had a table-top 1924 VV-VI since college, but this is my first floor model Victrola. It was quite damaged and in need of repair when I acquired it. It had been dropped pretty hard at some point, on the crank side. It was also water damaged, as you can see the veneer peeling in some of the photo's. What follows is my complete rebuild. The reproducer, the motor, the cabinet, etc. It doesn't look NEW as I prefer to preserve when possible as opposed to restore.

Nice job on the XI! The back panel replacement looks great!

I just did a restoration recently on an XI myself. There are before and
after pics in this thread:

I like your 1950's Govt. model Emerson fan also, I had one just like it. I
used to be a fan freak but I had to sell most of mine off to make room for
phonographs. :)

Very nice. If you hadn't given a good effort, who knows what would have happened to it. Jerry

Joe didn't post enough photos of this extensive rebuild. The machine looked like it had been dropped off a truck and then hit by another car. It was in really bad shape. I wish he would post photos of the before and after of the repair on the side.

The photos don't open for me either. Tried both Firefox and IE; neither one works.
