This isn't mine of course, if it were nearby I'd be on my way. Hopefully someone can use it before it gets made into a wine rack or some other such stupid thing!

Not really. I just got pictures of the inside of it.

I really like it but don't want to drive 90 miles to pick it up (in a rental, as there's no way it fits in my car) and then move it up to the 3rd floor. I really haven't the room.

Top veneer is water damaged but the interior is great--even the back is still there. Somebody call the lady & just go get it.

I strongly looked into it but it was too far away. It did look great on the inside, although in addition to the shot veneer on top, the legs had been partially hacked off (shouldve been lower leg sections with a stretcher).

Anyhow, still worth every penny of $20; I sure hope it gets restored

Hey, good eyes! Yes it is partially amputated, but still looks fine. I used to have two of these 1929 Edison C-4's, so I sold one and kept the nicer one. Then I bought a C-2 from Chuck Azzalina and sold the C-4 for $500. They only play 78s, not DDs like the 1928 C-2. It sounds like the Victor RE-45 from 1929. They both used 80 rectifiers and push pull 45s. Here's a clip of my old Edison C-4 playing a 78.
