The Talking Machine Forum — For All Antique Phonographs & Recordings

Well, it's Monday and I haven't attended a phonograph/record show since 2019. (It's usually three a year.) And this weekend (Aug. 21-22) the big EXPO takes place outside of Los Angeles...without me.

But I'm very impressed that in the midst of COVID, an APS committee has managed to mount an EXPO with workshops, presentations, a banquet, silent auction, live music, and of course a selling area with over 60 dealers. My hat's off to those hard-working folks who put all this together. I wish I could be there, but my thanks go out to them regardless. Several thousand dollars were spent in advertising this event, and it will hopefully bring in new people to keep our hobby alive.

For those who are lucky enough to attend, please report back and post pictures!
