I have a Coquet, and this one looks to be in very nice condition. In my "opinion", the horn looks like an original, different from replica glass horns, but I have only seen one replica glass horn in person - mine. I have never seen a French table crane, but it looks "French" and authentic (if not, it is very nice with the machine). The starting bid seems reasonable...

I have both replicas and an original. It is difficult/impossible to tell if original or reproduction just by looking at the pictures. I have found that originals ring (like crystal) when rapped on the bell. Reproductions (glass) produce a dull thump.
