how much pressure do these reproducers/tonearms put on the records?

I'm gonna guess that the later victor reproducer would be lighter, though, for a multitude of reasons

Most early magnetic pickups (Horseshoe Style) track at about 6 oz. Capeharts around 9 oz. Most are fixed with no adjustment system. Edison C2 has a weight adjustment under the motor board & some late Victor arms around 1936-37 have an adjustment spring under the tonearm that will allow you to reduce the tracking to around 3 oz.
