I’m curious about the Edison b-450 diamond disc players, are they the most expensive model manufactured and how rare are they? What trims did they come in? And lastly how many b-450’s and a-450s were manufactured.

They were the most expensive of the line at that time. A bit later the "art models" came out at much higher prices. According to Frow total sales through December 1914 were 59. He cites sales in 1916 at 5 in one month, 25 another but no total sales. They only came in the "trim" you pictured in Circassian walnut. The A-400 came in the same cabinet with mahogany finish. I know of about a half dozen A and B-450s owned by collectors. Surely there are a few more out there.
