RTL Luxembourg is running a series with local collectors, and amongst piles of stamps, cigarette packs and guitars they found an exotic collector of gramophones (me). https://www.rtl.lu/tele/rtl-collectors- ... 59951.html

Wonderful, Carlos! What a fabulous collection you have - very nicely covered in such a short time - and it's so nice to meet you a little better, too! 😀

(The BCN used in the EMG wasn't lost on me, either!)

What a collection! Marvelous! How many 78s do you have? Do you have a database and catalogue? I have only 5500, excel database and catalog, and I'm almost lost! You seem to have 50,000 x 78s!!
:D

Thanks, Andy! Now you understand why I buy so many thorn needles from you. Indeed it is a BCN on the EMG, and the green wire around the arm is a crude counterweight, not pretty but efficient. I was impressed with the editing abilities of the guy who filmed the collection. He spent about three hours filming and asking questions, to condense it all in three minutes. He did not take notes neither, so small flaws like misnaming the Edison Army & Navy are minor, considering that before interviewing me he had never heard of gramophones!
