I'm going to redo the reproducer on my new find Sonora art case model.
It has the wooden tone arm and the end wood piece comes off with the reproducer on the end.
Is there a special way to change the gaskets and mica?
I have never redone or owned one like this before so I figured I'd ask on here:)
If you have any pics of one you did let me see them
Mine says super fine number 4 or 3 I forget which number

With a Sonora reproducer (at least the one I have) you take the mica out the front- remove the front gasket, lift out the mica (after you release the needle bar) then take out the back gasket. There's also a rubber ring in the back that serves to keep the throat from rattling- you take off the plate around the throat to do that.

This I'd a odd one . I know on victors you have a clear mica, the needle bar on the Sonora attaches to the round piece that says Sonora superfine numb 3?
Is that the mica?
So basically take the needle bar off pull the gasket, how do I get to the screw that holds the needle bar to the mica?
I have a wooden tone arm model. So there I'd a piece of wood that's still attached to the reproducer, do I need to take that off to get to the back of the screw?
