It's been a while since I posted on this board, but this recent purchase of mine I really had to share. This is a really hot Paul Ash recording, and in excellent shape. I especially like the modulation at the end.

Thanks. That's the first time I've heard a Paul Ash on Columbia. Pretty hotsy-wotsy, too.

Ash and his Granada Orchestra recording of Rosita/Japanese Sunset, on Brunswick, was one of the first 78's that I discovered I really liked, when just a wee lad. But that one is decidedly NOT very hot, so...

Yes, thanks for posting this! Excellent transfer too! Youtube videos are nice, but mp3 audio files sound so much better. Keep 'em coming, please!
