A paper Mache 18” Glass-eyed Nipper was first manufactured by Old King Cole Company of Canton, Ohio in 1916. This Nipper can be distinguished by his glass eyes, metal studs on his collar, and slim appearance.
This Nipper has been fully restored. It has the original metal studs on his collar and original glass eyes. The original red oval “Old King Cole” label is found under his paw. Additional information can be found on pages 2-43 & 2-44 of "Nipper Collectibles" Vol. I by Rolfs.
This item can be delivered for pick-up at the Donley/Hazelcorn Auction Dec. 11-12.
