the deal here is that I just don't have the time to restore the original case I have. If I get a new case, I will keep the poorly finished one I have.

Big old crack in the entirety of one side, weird oak color, silver paint and holes drilled inside. I'll dig it out later tomorrow and take photos in some better lighting.
