I have a signed record of Richard Tauber's Die Tote Stadt. I am curious about the worth of this record.

It's signed in the wax, so it's probably no different from any other copy. The disc itself iisn't common because it's a late acoustic - they tended to have short lives in the catalogue.

It was common practice for artists, especially those who recorded for the Lindstrom group, to autograph the wax.
They believed it to be a precaution against piracy.
Records individually autographed on the label are a different matter and can be worth more than an unsigned copy.

Yes, many fonitipias are also signed on the wax. And the Columbia 863 by John McCormack is signed too, as it was an Odeon matrix.
