Happy New Year!!
These photos might interest HMV Gramophone re-entrant horn collectors to compare the sizes from 157 to 202. These are from the center-fold photo in a talking machine collection book published in Japan.

Many thanks, Hideki, and a happy new year for you also!
I'm very fond of your abilities, and that marvelous handmade EMG of yours! You could post a video for us herein!

Great photos, Hideki, thanks for posting.
I could have replicated this at one time but now I'm down to just owning a 202. Maybe I could get another 157 so I could own examples of both ends of the range: biggest and smallest.
But then I'd probably want to "infill" the gaps........probably not a great idea!

Yes, I used to own HMV 193, which I miss very much, but I very much enjoy listening to my HMV 202. The photos show the horn differences between HMV 202 and VV 8-9 or VV 8-35 horns, which I use for RCA theater Alnico horn drivers for stereo usage. I am planning to add field coil Jensen speakers. The photos don't have Jensen speakers, only the horn drivers. VV 8-9 and VV 8-35 horns are larger than HMV 163's horn and a little smaller than HMV 193's horn.

Thank you for adding these interesting photos. It is very different to see them side by side than on different pages in a book!

Hello Gramophone Lovers,
Recently I imported HMV 163 in Mahogany case from UK to US. I won this on UK ebay. Mr. Craig Feek was the seller and quite helpful for the shipping to the US. The 32 spring motor was not working well due to harden grease, so I cleaned every part and lubricated it with new grease, so it works quite well. It sounds fantastic. Of course my 202 beats this easily, but I wanted one in mahogany case.

Mr. Watanabe; it looks fantastic! Do you have already all the line 130-145-163_193/4_202/3? It would be beautiful to see all them in a row...
An admirer.

Unless one already has them in a row, one would need a few of the type of people pictured below, as the 193/4_202/3 are surprisingly heavy!

Here is another line-up photo from 157 to 203 and the HMV Automatic I. I already have EMGinn Expert Senior, EMG Xa, two Credenzas, Brunswick Panatrope Cortez, hmv 102, 130, 163, 202, and my two hand-made paper mache horn gramophones. I just don't have any space for more items, but I am looking for one more: Sonora Phiharmonic phonograph.
