1930s RCA RE Series Turntable Deck on EBay

This listing, being for a bit of electrical kit, is probably a bit outside the scope of this forum which seems primarily focused on acoustic gear.
Hoodoo's contributions to the Needles thread in Tips Etc made me curious.
Here is an RCA RE series Art Deco turntable deck, minus its radio cabinet. It is interesting just to look at, strange and beautiful. There is another rabbit hole here one could head off down if one were not careful.

Some examples insitu below. I would imagine that these sort of things were very expensive at the time, and probably not a lot of them were sold during the depression of the thirties. I would further imagine that they are quire rare now.
