The Late Harry Woods

Back in 1966 A local collector who was very fond of the music that was written by Harry Woods decided to drive down to Scottsdale Az. and meet him for lunch. At the lunch he showed Mr. Woods some sheet music of some of his songs he wrote or co-wrote. Mr. woods was kind enough to sign each one and add a notation on some. The one that I find the most interesting is titled "When The Moon Comes Over The Mountain". Mr. Woods notations on this are too funny and yet also gives you a feel on how "risky" titles could have been if allowed. He adds "I'll Be Mountin' Somebody's Moon".He then adds "later while under construction,we chopped the hind end off to make it decent".
Harry Woods was quite a colorful person. You may want to read more about his life on the internet. He did supply some wonderful songs that will never be forgotten and was quite a musician given the fact he was born with a defective hand.Sadly,he was killed in a car accident outside his home in the very early '70's.
Although, the one piece is the best of the group. It would be better to keep this all together as a collection.
