This is in Langley, BC, which is almost a suburb of Vancouver but not quite.
An interesting looking machine.

One the Victor patents expired, furniture makers started saturating the market with phonographs using generic parts suppliers. Many of the parts suppliers used pot metal to save money and so the quality of the parts is low as is the availability of replacement parts. Unless the cabinet is exceptional, stick to Victor, Edison, Columbia Sonora and Brunswick. I think Sonora and Brunswick made the most beautiful cabinets, but that's just my opinion. Orthophonic machines sound the best by far.
