Mark your calendars --- The Carolina Antique Music & Phonograph Society (CAMPS) will be holding its first annual show in several years at the Sheraton Airport Hotel in Charlotte, NC this coming March 24-26. The show will be held in conjunction with the annual 3-day meeting of the Carolinas Chapter of the Antique Wireless Association (CC-AWA). The marriage of these two events (which includes a multi-day flea market) promises to make for a fun retreat from the real world into the truly mad and zany world populated by antique phonograph collectors, early radio collectors, vintage audio collectors, early tech. collectors, and a whole host of other wacky folks your parents told you to avoid when you were growing up. The weather in Charlotte is typically quite nice this time of year, so a 3-day getaway to the Old North State might be just the ticket for your winter blizzard blues. For more information and a downloadable PDF that explains the who, what, when, where and why, visit the CC-AWA website at https://cc-awa.club

I'm self-exiled to Connecticut doing college stuff--Do I have to get a train ticket & come on down? Because nothing beats the Carolina Phonograph Show!

Well Bummer!! I have family coming in town for a two week visit, just two days before the show. (Hmmm.. Charlotte should be beautiful in late March--- perhaps...??...) Nah- They wouldn't be interested.

I've really missed the NC show and am glad it's back. Great group of collectors in NC and surrounding area... I always had a great time. So sorry I'll have to miss it.

Bring 'em along, Brad. They'll love it. Great food in downtown Charlotte, and no lack of fun stuff to do.
