The horn doesn't look like a Victor horn with that black stripe on the back.
There's a Zonophone machine for sale on eBay right now, with a very similar looking mahogany horn, so I'm going to say that is what it is ?
Decal says "Master Master"
I don't have enough experience here on that.

I'm guessing that a music master horn is like any other after-market horn at the time, so could have been there since new.

I don't understand very much of this detail, but gosh! It looks fantastic! 525 bucks, but 9 days left... Curious to see how will this end!

The Music Master horn was standard equipment on the Edison Opera, and an extra cost option on some other models.
Versions were also available for disc machines, including the rare British made Marathon.

It's an aftermarket horn, made for a Victor. It's a legit accessory item, just not a Victor horn. It should not detract from this very cool machine. Love the dealer decal!!!

Very nice and extremely rare model. Should go for good money. I have had two and now just the one in my collection.

Hard to say what's going to happen with this one, most Victor V's and VI's end at around 3,000.00$ to 3,500.00$.
I think this will go above that, maybe to 4,000.00$ to 4,500.00$

I like auctions like this, people don't seem to understand how eBay works, they sit there and needle away at each other with all these "Pussy" bids and then they run out of time doing so.

I come in like a "bull in a China shop" at the last few seconds with a large bid and blow everyone out of the water, so no one can piss around trying to find my max bid.

And no I'm not bidding on this, I have a couple of collector vehicles that keep me plenty broke.
I can't drive around in a Gramophone.

Quite a price. The dealer decal on the front is pretty spectacular and the whole machine should clean up wonderfully for whoever gets it.

But, say, you bid 10,000 bucks, outbid everyone, and then what...? You have to pay what you've bid for? Or is there any protection system with which you pay 10% over the second bid...? If not, you'll pay too much for it!

That's what I meant when I said, "that no one knows how eBay works".
In the end I pay what ever the last highest bid is/was, not 10,000.00$ plus what ever the automatic increments are in a given auction to win, and in a big ticket items like this, it looks like150.00$
Look at the bidders page, you can see 5**m automatically went from 1,200.00 to 1,350.00, so eBay is automatically adding 150.00 to what ever the last highest bid is. (I don't know how eBay determines this, sometimes it's 10 bucks, sometimes 100, or more, but in this case it appears to be 150.00$)
So lets say the last highest bid is 4,500.00 and no one can see that, so in the end I would pay 4,500.00 plus 150.00 for 4,650.00, not 10,000.00.

Note too that 150.00$ is also dependent upon what that bidder put in as a bid and how much the last maximum bid was on the buyer before him, but 150.00 seems like a good guess at this point, that's not really important though.

It gets interesting when there is a another bidder who knows this, so in that case it can be a bit of a gamble, but in all the years that I've been on eBay, only one other bidder seemed to know how eBay's bidding system works, but now everyone will know now, or at least everyone here on the forum.

Here's an example, look at the last bid, that's me, I paid 127.51$, to win, my maximum highest bid was 200.00$
No can see my maximum bid, and I can't see anyone else's for that matter.
And in this case, eBay added 2.00$ to win automatically to 127.00$ up to 200.00$
