How tiny the Vic R is? A guy I know got one, and they're smaller than a portable!

I guess I'm just used to my Vic III being fairly big.
Plus, I'm sure the Vic R is easier on records.Jerry B. wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 10:14 am I like the Victor R. The appearance and features make it very unique and interesting. Of course a Trademark machine is the perfect machine to display with a Nipper. But the R looks very nice with Nipper at a fraction of the cost.

Isn't the long throat reproducer, especially the exhibition conversions, lighter than the Trademark reproducer?gramophone78 wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 10:30 pmWhy is a Vic R easier on records?gunnarthefeisty wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 12:11 pmPlus, I'm sure the Vic R is easier on records.Jerry B. wrote: Mon Feb 07, 2022 10:14 am I like the Victor R.
