Picked up this nice record cabinet at an antique shop. Has round columns and doors are gently curved. Does anyone have any info on this type cabinet? And, what phonograph would this cabinet be intended for?

It's intended one of the machines at my house. Thanks!

It depends on the internal setup, (cylinder or disk), and the size of the top. Basically. Whatever fits and looks good, (preferably an Oak machine). It’s a very attractive cabinet.

Is it a Salter? It looks a lot like the lines of some Salter cabinets I've seen. Could be totally wrong, though.
These cabinets look pretty great when they're all set up; that one's in very nice shape.

I think a cabinet that is flat on top is not model specific. If your cabinet is square and designed to hold discs a large oak Zonophone, Columbia (disc), or Victor would look very nice. If a cabinet is deeper than wide I think it's designed for an internal horn machine.

That depends. Is it for cylinders or discs?

If it's for discs a Col BII would look terrific on top. If it's a cylinder cabinet an Edison Triumph with #11 Cygnet or Opera or perhaps a Col BFT.

I recently picked this one up, very similar architecture, except mine has a drawer beneath the top. One could use it either for cylinders or records.

That is beautiful Raphael! My cabinet has just one shelf inside. I am looking for an oak victor iv to go on top of it.

Oak Victor IV, isn't that a bit of a rare beasty ?
I think they're out there, but are they not all pretty much mahogany ?
