REDUCED: Jewel 78 Adapter for Edison D-D Now $35.00

Here is a Jewel 78 adapter for an Edison Diamond Disc phonograph.
All the joints and swivels are free and attachment plays a 78 record perfectly. At this price there must be a problem with it. Right?
A small "wing" or "foot" has broken off the front casting causing the ball joint to become disengaged when the tonearm is raised. The missing piece would lift the reproducer off the record when the arm is raised.
I've attached photos of the attachment with an arrow indicating where the part is missing. Also, photos of the corresponding part on a good adapter (gold color.) Someone may have the ability to repair/replace this part as this adapter is in otherwise great condition.
