John, I haven't been here that long, but in just this short time, what you want is "hoarded" by collectors for spare parts and completing machines.
When they come up on eBay, with missing horns, motors etc., they still sell for rather big money of 400.00$ to 700.00$ depending on what's missing.
What you want all have double and triple spring motors with Victor's updated long tonearm, I don't believe any of them can be described as project machines.
There's a Victor III cabinet on eBay right now and the seller is asking over 300.00$.

Thanks for your comments, I appreciate them. I'm looking for good machines or machines that might need a little work. I've been on eBay for 20+ years and like most folks I'm tired of the high fees that they charge. Like most people here, trading among members is always great plus it saves those fees, and the seller comes out ahead. Over the years I have gotten to know most members here and you know you can trust them and not just getting a pile of junk. I will always trust the forum members ahead of a bunch of unknowns on eBay. Thanks... John

Why don't you build one, I'm doing that because I can.
The cabinet will be made from American Black Walnut with crotch veneer on the horn and perhaps on the cabinet.
If Victor would have made one, it would have been a Victor VI
It's easy enough to get the bits.
You need a router, a table and a cut of saw for accurate 45 degree angles.
A spindle shaper would be nice, but that's getting expansive, but a router will work if one uses his imagination.
