Sometimes i have to replace the Victrola logo under the lid. I get them from phonodecals.com who ships very fast in most cases and also found some available on ebay from a seller in Peru.

Both Gregg Cline and Eduardo Portillo are famous decal makers. I don't know what is whose, but I like most the colourful one. The other seems somewhat faded, but.... maybe it's the correct appearance for seeming 100 years old.... A difficult decision...

I've purchased decals from Eduardo in Peru on ebay several times over the past 10 years. I've always been extremely pleased with his quality and service. Postal service from Peru has occasionally been an issue, but Eduardo has gone out of his way to make sure I received my purchases. The decals sometimes take a while to arrive, so you need patience. But they are worth the wait.
I've mainly purchased his HMV and UK Columbia decals which are very nice.

We’re supposed to keep this Forum on a positive note, so I’m going to stick my neck out here. To begin with, full disclosure, I’ve done business on many levels both Gregg and Eduardo for years. In my opinion, they are both of the highest integrity and an absolute pleasure to deal with.
So, why are you selecting one item that you received and comparing the quality as if it represented the entire product line? It’s unfair to Gregg, who sells hundreds of different decals and will customize one for you as well. He also attends shows (remember them?) and demonstrates how to apply decals, or will apply a decal to your machine if you’re uneasy in doing the deed yourself. I love Eduardo, but you won’t see him in the U.S.any time soon.
Additionally, if you had pointed out any faults to Gregg, I’d bet he would correct it immediately (and so would Eduardo).

I agree completely with Raphael. Your post is unfair; it's also misguided. You're disparaging the work of someone whose exquisitely crafted decals -- and there are hundreds of them -- have elevated the quality of phonograph cabinet and bedplate restorations to a level nobody could have imagined a dozen years ago.

Jon,
Yes. I'm certain that Gregg would have been eager to hear your feedback and make adjustments as needed, or if needed. Instead, it appears that he has had no chance to do so before being openly critiqued. Not nice...
As someone who also provides a service to phonograph collectors, I would think that you'd be more cognizant of the effort put forth by people who supply their services to us and therefore more professional in your approach to providing feedback.

I’m sure Eduardo’s decals are nice, but I’ll stick by Gregg. His decals are always top notch with no excuses…Besides…who else produces decals for your Keenophone? Kalamazoo Duplex? Variations of the banner front Home Decals? Berliner machines? The list goes on….. Decals for common machines are one thing, but decals for rare and specialty machines are a different story…Gregg provides an excellent service to us all.. I am taking nothing from Eduardo, but give credit where it is due….

Just be thankful that someone sticks their neck and pocketbook out to produce these decals. I have nothing but respect for both Greg and Eduardo for supporting this hobby.

Thanks for the kind words of support here on the forum.
Jon,
Sorry you weren't satisfied with the product I sent. I wish you would have contacted me directly. I would have happily adjusted the color for you and reprinted or refunded as you saw fit. I stand behind what I make 100%. If you are not satisfied just tell me and I will make it right...It is that simple. I try to make the decals look credible for a 100 plus year old antique...Not brand new. It also makes a difference how it looks installed vs holding the plain decal in your hand. This is a Hobby business for me. I am not getting rich off of it. I print these decals as needed... no huge runs at a commercial printer. I also create one off decals for people in need at a reasonable cost. It is a labor of love and a way to give back to the hobby. Please contact me directly if you wish to discuss.
Gregg
